Hello and thank you for dropping in.

As one of Scotland’s most experienced and versatile harpists, I pride myself on my professionalism, reliability, natural musicality and warmth of my sound. Classically trained, I combine my passion for teaching with my playing career. As a soloist and with duos ( Cello and Flute), I perform on Concert Harp and Clarsach throughout Scotland and Northern England for formal events, weddings, civil partnerships, private and corporate events of all sizes as well as giving recitals and regularly performing with orchestras. Cellist Lindsay Martindale and I regularly perform recitals for residents in care homes in Edinburgh.

I have broadcast live for BBC Scotland Television and Radio and STV and appeared as a guest recitalist and teacher at the Edinburgh Harp Festival, for numerous Music Societies and for the London branch of the United Kingdom Harp Association.  Recent collaborations include the premiere of composer Steve Davismoon’s space specific commission Driven Voids at the Reid Building, Glasgow School of Art; writing music for and performing for the Glam Rock Dialogues and writing music for and performing for the 2018 film Drifting with Debord with Professor Carl Lavery and David Archibald and for David Archibald's Glasgow: A History in Song as well as a film collaboration with Lesley Redfern for my recording of John Cage’s In a Landscape .  Current collaborations include the multi-sensory work The Haunting with Steve Davismoon; arrangements of French chamber music for harp and voices and a work for school children entitled Artemis Beyond the Moon, composed by the children and performed by the children and myself.  I am also a member of the band New Leaf and appear on their latest album The Year of the Ox.

I hold a Master of Music (Harp Performance), Post Graduate Degree in Education and a Bachelor of Arts (Music) and am a member of the Musicians’ Union, the Independent Society of Musicians, the Scottish Association for Music Education, PVG and am registered with the General Teaching Council of Scotland.

I work with clients to choose music that is unique and meaningful to them and I would love to create memories in music for you on your special day.

Music and memories that will last a lifetime
